Sunday’s Blessing
Based on Psalm 92
Dear Church,
May you celebrate the Sabbath in your heart
Because he has defeated all our enemies
And will care for all our needs
May you sing of it
Giving gratitude a tongue!
May you publicly declare God’s steadfast love and faithfulness — all of time!
May instruments always support and complement your worship!
May you always get to gladness by God
And recognize and bless him for it in your worship!
May you have many experiences of awe!
And live in joy
When you have troubles, may you hold tight to Christ!
May you hold fast the Lord as the high and eternal one and neither fear the Lord’s enemies nor doubt his love!
Through him,
May you be strong and brave and holy and glad!😌
And live in comfort
Flourishing like a palm tree with beauty and goodness and truth in God’s world!
And growing like a cedar
Even in your hard years as well as in your latter years!
So that all is shown true of the Lord in all the earth!
