Sunday’s Blessing
Based on Psalm 4
Dear Church,
When those around you act foolishly and bring you distress,
May you be a truly changed people, praying to your God, thanking him for his righteousness which is the gift of gifts!
May your lives and prayers be shining lights to the world that God hears you when you pray!
And may your pleading with enemies of God — to fear him, to rethink their perspectives with Scripture, to be reconciled with right sacrifices, and to turn to a life of faith — all lead you to:
Denounce the folly of faithlessness, and exalt the wisdom of godly contentment, peace, and rest in Jesus Christ.
